The Akashic Tarot: The Muse (Number 15)

In this blog post we will discuss The Muse, which is the 15th card of the Major Arcana.

The Muse card is the 15th card in the Major Arcana of the Akashic Tarot. When this card comes up, it's all about inspiration and creativity. The intuitive meaning of the card is as follows:

Upright Meaning:

When the Muse card comes out upright, it is all about finding your muse and being inspired.

The card depicts a young woman in the center. She is playing an instrument, possibly a flute. She is surrounded by what appears to be the shadow of a moon and all around her pink blooms are flowing. These could be pink cherry blossoms or a different summer flower. The pink flowers fall on her reddish hair and down to her feet. Everything implies a flow is occurring and that someone is inspired to create.

The meaning of this card is muse, inspiration and creativity. When this card comes out upright, it implies that you have found your creative flow and that you are being bombarded with great thoughts, ideas and overall inspiration to create. Creating and creation can look different for everyone. For some it may very well be the creation of music, a new song or playing an instrument. Others may find their creativity in writing of poetry, essays, novels or journaling. Yet for others creativity might imply other visual arts, such as painting, drawing or photography. Whatever way you express your creativity, the period right now implies that you are fully supported in all creative endeavors and that your inspiration might flow easily. Perhaps you are also feeling inspired by others and how they live their lives.

Love:

Your person might feel inspired right now. They may also feel particularly inspired by what you are doing and by your sheer presence. Even if you aren't close to one another in physical location, your online presence and media might really inspire them in their own life and to pick up some of their creative endeavors. Perhaps you are also connecting to an artist, a musician or a creative person overall. The timing of the card may also imply spring or summer, as the season depicted is one of the warmer ones.

Overall meaning:

This card depicts a good time to pick up creative projects or overall just letting the muses inspire you.

Reverse Meaning:

When the Muse card comes out in reverse, there might be a creative block, such as a writer's block or something similar. Perhaps whatever you were planning to do is being delayed over and over again and you can really feel this in your own life. Perhaps creative projects are challenging you right now. Go with the divine flow and don't force things when they can happen at a better time. There is most likely a better timing for whatever it is you were undertaking. Get all your ducks in a row and patiently wait for a less heavy period.
