In this blog post we will discuss Beith - Birth, which is the fourth card of the Major Arcana.
The Beith-Birth card is the fourth card in the Major Arcana of the Akashic Tarot. This is always a good confirmation card when it does come out. It also symbolizes so much freshness and energy. The intuitive meaning of the card is as follows:
Upright Meaning:
When the Beith-Birth card comes out upright, it is time for a new beginning. A mother and her two children are out in nature, collecting flowers and frolicking in the fresh nature landscape. A dog is joining them in the background (which even happens to look like a Beagle to me). Furthermore, you see some stone structures resembling Stonehenge or an ancient henge in England. The season seems to be spring or early summer. All individuals depicted are wearing long sleeves. They are jumping joyfully towards something new and playing in the present moment.
This card may very well symbolize spring and a new beginning of season in your life. If you are a (single) mother with two children or a dog, this may very well be a double message for you. Same goes if you ever desire to have children or a family of your own as this card may very well showcase your future circumstances. But first and foremost, this card symbolizes a new start and new beginning. Are you perhaps thinking about "birthing" new ideas or projects into the world? This may be in your life in general or also in work-related matters or projects and passions of your own. Whatever is going on in your head and mind, now is an auspicious time for that fresh new start.
It may very well also be a time of re-birth. Especially after a break-up or change of careers and jobs. Indeed, this card might pop up when you are contemplating a career change or overall just different path in life. As a month, it may symbolize the fourth month of the year, which is April. A perfect spring month, too.
Overall this card showcases growth and opportunities ahead.
Love:
A new romance may be on the horizons. Or just a new perspective onto the person you have your eye on or are currently with. If you are planning on it, this card may very well indicate pregnancy and starting a family of your own with your person. Similarly, it can point to children your person has with someone else already, as well.
Overall meaning:
Spring, a new start, freshness, new beginnings, pregnancy and birthing new ideas and projects into the world.
Reverse Meaning:
When the Beith-birth card comes out in reverse, this may be a sign that things are currently delayed. That new job offer you were eyeing may very well take more time or evaporate into thin air. Or that fresh new start you had in mind may very well be delayed. Perhaps even a pregnancy is taking more time than usual. Whatever the delay in new starts, romances and beginnings is, trust that things are happening for a reason. In a similar manner, eclipse season or Mercury Retrograde could be affecting these types of delays.
Sometimes things are completely out of our control and there is a reason for it. We may not yet see it that way but we might do so in the future. And it's a great time to focus on ourselves and the treasures we hold within us.
